Assembly Technician

- Assembly & Fabrication: Build and connect various electrical components—such as coils, leads, and switches—following precise engineering specifications.
- Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, schematics, and process sheets to ensure production accuracy.
- Quality Control & Testing: Conduct critical performance tests (including ratio testing and leak checks) and monitor process cycles to ensure all units meet safety and quality standards.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate industrial equipment, including overhead cranes and forklifts, to move large units and raw materials throughout the facility.
- System Monitoring: Use computer systems to log production data, monitor automated processes, and make real-time adjustments to technical sequences.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with engineering, quality assurance, and logistics teams to meet production goals and deadlines.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Mobility: Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach for the duration of a shift.
Agility: Ability to navigate industrial workspaces safely, including climbing vertical ladders when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, welding, or military service is highly valued.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with AC/DC electrical concepts or a technical certification in a related trade (e.g., welding or electrical assembly) is preferred.
Reliability: Ability to maintain a consistent schedule and commute to the designated facility.
