Betsy’s journey to Mind Shift began with a referral from her job counselor at Fraser, one of our esteemed community partners, known for their wide range of services, including an “Autism Spectrum of Excellence.”
Betsy is a valued member of Mind Shift, currently working at Boston Scientific in Maple Grove, MN. In her role, Betsy plays a vital role in manually cutting coil wire, which will ultimately be used in medical procedures to close wounds inside the human body. As you can see in the picture, she takes great pride in her work, achieving precision with every cut. When asked about her experience, she enthusiastically said, “I did really cut a coil, and it was a perfect cut!” Her favorite aspect about the position is the support she receives from the trainer, who is not only helpful but also understanding. Betsy says her main challenge is remembering all the steps when completing a batch of 300, but she is determined to master it.
We are delighted to have Betsy as an integral member of Mind Shift family, and we look forward to witnessing her continued growth and achievements with in our organization. Betsy’s unwavering dedication and valuable contribution is making a positive impact on our mission to create inclusive and fulfilling employment opportunities for individuals like her.
